Dr. Asif Khan. Medical Director
MB. ChB. MRCGP. CCFP
Dr. Khan is currently a family physician in the Medical Centre at The Boardwalk and has been in practice for 21 years.
During that time he has been an avid traveler to many countries, having undertaken a driving trip from the United Kingdom through most of Europe, across the middle east and into the Indian subcontinent, and he continues to enjoy frequent travelling adventures.
He has been a clinical investigator since 2007 and participated in hundreds of clinical trials some of which were vaccine studies. This field of research and experience of preventable travel borne related infections in patients led to his developing the Travel Clinic at The Boardwalk.
His goal at the clinic is to simply give the best practical advice and allow people to make their investment in their travel adventures a success and enjoy peace of mind in their new surroundings.
He obtained his medical degree in Manchester U.K, membership of the royal college of GP's in Edinburgh, and practiced rural medicine in Manitoba before establishing his family practice in Kitchener/Waterloo (KW) in 2002.
